These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TherapyBoard app and website (collectively, “TherapyBoard”), operated by TherapyBoard (“we”, “us”, or “our”), an Australian partnership registered in Queensland.
By creating an account, accessing, or using TherapyBoard, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
TherapyBoard is a communication platform designed for qualified health professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, and other allied health professionals who are part of a patient’s care team.
You must:
Be over 18 years old;
Be registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA);
Use TherapyBoard solely for professional purposes related to client care.
You agree to:
Keep your login credentials secure and confidential;
Only share information that is necessary, relevant, and lawful;
Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your professional role;
Ensure that you have obtained appropriate patient or guardian consent before uploading or discussing identifiable health information;
Use TherapyBoard in accordance with all applicable laws and professional codes of conduct.
You must not:
Upload unlawful, discriminatory, or offensive material;
Use TherapyBoard to harass, threaten, or defame any person;
Attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app’s services or security.
We take privacy seriously. Use of TherapyBoard is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect personal and health-related information.
We may retain communications and records in line with legal and ethical requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure any data you enter complies with applicable privacy and health laws, including the Privacy Act 1988.
TherapyBoard is a private communication tool for professionals. You must not disclose content shared within the platform outside of the care team unless permitted by law or patient consent.
Do not use TherapyBoard as a sole record-keeping system—ensure important notes and communications are copied to your official client management system as needed.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to TherapyBoard if:
You violate these Terms or applicable laws;
Your professional registration lapses or is revoked;
You misuse the platform in a way that threatens the privacy or safety of others.
You may delete your account at any time, but some data may be retained to comply with our legal obligations.
We strive to ensure TherapyBoard is available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be free from errors or vulnerabilities. We may change or discontinue parts of the platform at any time without prior notice.
All content, branding, software, and design of TherapyBoard is owned by or licensed to us. You may use the app only as intended and must not copy, resell, or reproduce any part of the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
TherapyBoard is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee it is suitable for your specific needs;
We are not responsible for decisions or outcomes arising from the clinical use of the app;
Our liability is limited to the re-supply of services or a refund (where applicable).
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
